“This…track is probably one of my personal favourites. I had the opportunity of becoming ambassador for Cook Island’s climate change and that really effected me. We did a trip over to Atiu and we learnt a lot about the islands and the outer islands and how all these islands…are not known or talked about unless you’re an islander and I didn’t know about them. How they’re at the forefront of the battle of climate change, they’re most effected, they’re directly affected and they’re first effected in the world… They’re having to abandon all their traditional practices, customs and ways that they’ve lived their life for many years and so it really effected me… The song is like a double-entendre cause when you hear the song it talks about all these different, what went wrong in the relationship, what’s been going wrong in the relationship and the breakdown of what happened between the human beings and the earth… It’s trying to explain these things and trying to learn from these things.”
